Ju and Donata Polo are spending the last day sorting out the boat prior to leaving at one minute past midnight (so as not to leave on a Friday, not that sailors are superstitious or anything, not half!)

Weather looks strong from the north, but maybe a bit too strong from the north west, so they may divert to Brittany rather than battle into strong winds for the first few days and nights of the trip.

Meantime they are buying a stereo for the boat so they can listen to music en voyage! An essential, I think!

In Ardfern the week's rain has finally stopped for a few hours, hoorah!
