Donata Polo appears to be aiming to clear the north west tip of Spain after all, and carry on heading south. The tracker shows just how slowly they were travelling on a southerly course, much faster now they are headed slightly north of west. But who knows, we can only watch and wait.

Meantime, back in Blighty, storms are blowing themselves out, hopefully, for a calmer weekend. I'm planning to get the liferaft and EPIRB serviced in February. Boring old winter maintenance jobs, really. Sailing not an option just now.
