This morning's post on James' blog announces a diversion from La Gomera to Gran Canaria. Originally James wanted to avoid Gran Canaria because of the launch of the many ARC yachts from there, but they are now safely on their way across the Atlantic, so it is a viable option. They should arrive within the next 24 to 48 hours, and will be able to get the boat fully fit for the next leg to Martinique. Ju should be able to phone or Skype soon.

Meantime in Ardfern the first snow of the winter, a light dusting, arrived overnight. Picturesque!
