As you can see from the photo, Ju is enjoying sunshine in Gran Canaria while the delayed repairs to the boat continue. She has been working really hard on those repairs, so this break at the yacht club is overdue! They hope to leave for Martinique early next week.

Meantime in Ardfern the weeks of snow and ice have given way to a positively balmy 7 degrees Celsius, so I took myself out to Little Else this morning and the engine started at the second time of asking, and still on the start battery, so I was well pleased. She seems to have withstood the cold weather really well. We're due some more cold stuff soon, so I'm glad to have got the inspection visit over in good time before that, and before Christmas.
