The next day we had just enough wind to beat down Loch Se=ween to the point, and, rounding the Isle of Danna, it died completely, so we stuck with it and went north with the tide, with barely steerage way, but in a flat sea and sunshine. Various boats overtook us and talked to us about what we had missed in Strangford Lough, but we headed for Goat Island to spend our last night before getting home. We were no sooner in there than seven boats arrived flying a Gordonstoun pennant. Apparently this is an annual flotilla of 7 yachts with a lot of young people on board. So there was music and dancing into the evening, which we counter-attacked with two-guitar playing and songs. We retired early however.

The next day we went on the pontoon in Ardfern, ready for my new crew to arrive.
