On Saturday 12 May we motored through this famous stretch of water for the very first time in our own boat, while a friend took photographs on his mobile phone. We have sailed these waters for eight years now, and now feel able to venture through this shortcut to Colonsay, Islay and Mull and Iona all by ourselves!
