Life After Little Else......or Rambles with Alphie!

Liz Ju and Jack travel in our new campervan Alphie, to tour Orkney, or sometimes sooth.

The exhibition was good, some of the machines were interactive, others were the standard don't touch variety. But this one was fun. It was created so that'a gentleman might appreciate his appearance from all angles! A small hall of mirrors. So not one Ju but many!

I can't stand mirrors at the best of times so I didn't try it out.

Otherwise there was a military tank, a machine gun, various flying machines, and a rowing boat with paddles like the Waverley!

The Spanish steps were a disappointment, as the building at the top was covered in scaffolding. The Trevi fountain also, as it had been drained of water!

Our Roma Pass worked out really well for us, as it made bus and metro travel trouble-free.

So after an unbelievable night of continuous thunder and lightning, we're off back to the airport this morning to catch our flight to Palermo.
