On Saturday we shopped, on Sunday we just walked around, looked at the Bishop's Palace, and the Cathedral, where we bumped into Jim Wallace, and later I went for a swim in the afternoon at the Pickaquoy centre.

On Monday we went off in the van to Deerness, and did one of the recommended walks round the cliffs to Mull Head and the Brough of Deerness. Our Reg was the only vehicle in the car park when we got there, and we only saw two other people during the two hours in which we walked the four miles. There were lots of fulmars nesting on the cliffs, but we saw no kittiwakes.
