We put Dragon Lady back in the water with a splash! She is no where near completed, but she let us sleep so well ...and dry! and Clean!

We have Dragon Lady out of the lake for winter repairs and updates for Charters this coming Spring!

Well, it is almost time to take Dragon Lady out of the water for the winter...even tho last weekend was the best sail so far this year!

We have been cleaning every time we go out to see our new baby. We ran new lines and spliced all the shackles in place and put up all three sails...we are making great progress.
Still looking to find where the leaks are coming from...I think once we remove the capprail and replace it, they will be included under there...since they seem to originate from that general direction.
Here's to fair seas...

We bought a Nor'sea27, s/v Dragon Lady. We have loved her from the first time we saw her resting silently at dock before we were even member of this sailing club. We thought wouldn't it be neat to have a "real" boat like that. Nothing against our Hunter 25.5, but she is more modern and not of classic style. So now that we have bought Dragon lady, let the work begin. Just like pregnancy and childbirth. It will be very hard work, but definately a labor of love.
