First Stop Pryners Cove anchored out and saw a few PEYC Ghosts. A little R&R.
Early am left for Bath and stayed at Stella (Amhurst Island) great fun with the Canada Day celebrations, strawberry social and fireworks. Ran into a graduate student of John’s, Catherine Feriday and her husbad who are both animators. She immediately introduced us to very large family and we were invited the next day to drop in and visit the 100-acre farm. They drove us around the Island and explained the history and her earlier experiences growing up there. Catherine will be teaching at OCAD in January where John and her can catch up again
On our way to see Charlie Wilton performing in a
1812 War reenactment but just missed him by a couple of hours.
Next stop Kingston where we stayed at the marina and met Shannon for lunch and then kidnapped her for the evening. Greg was unable to join.
Two days at Trident to await the arrival of the new stove from West Marine which was delivered by Bob Nichol. John installed the stove and all works really well including an oven for John.
