lobster and crab

21 August 2012
Lobster and snow crab for dinner. The rain and fog make for the perfect atmosphere. Our electric heater is running 24 / 7 keeping the interior of Genevieve cozy but still damp. The hull temperature reads 47 degrees F. The weather is supposed to break tomorrow so we are out of here first thing Sunday morning.
Back to the fish stores to provision, have purchased more lobster, scallops and halibut for the sail. We have decided that the 28-hour crossing to the La Madeleine Islands is not for us without at least one more crew so we are going to do the Northumberland Strait.
