Bouctouche,

19 September 2012
Took some time to go and see Bouctouche, a town built and now maintained by the Irving family. (Irving Oil and Gas) Our intent was to checkout Sawmill Point Marina. The marina clubhouse was built from the remains of K.C. Irving's sawmill that stood on this site from the 1880′s on. The Irving family sponsored the construction and decoration of this beautiful clubhouse with a nautical theme evident throughout. It is absolutely beautiful. http://www.bouctouche.ca/site/attractions/

The Kirk and 100 acres of gardens across the road are stunning, surrounded with a stonewall that Sandy Peat would love. We'll post pictures.
