Well our time here in Fiji is winding down. We have only 2 weeks left. Where did the time go? Four months passed pretty quickly. I can only hope that five months in the RMI pass just as quick.
Love Song is ready for sea. Since we have been here in Fiji she has had all sorts of new stuff.
We hauled out & painted the bottom, along with, removing the rudder, and rebedding the rudder stuffing box.
We replaced all eight house bank batteries. We also replaced the two starting batteries.
We installed a new "Hydrovane" self stearing vane.( it will give the autopilot a break).
We installed a new mother board for the autopilot.
Every thing seems to be in good shape. lets hope we gan pass the next two weeks without some thing breaking.
Our planned departure date is Nov 8th. We will sail out the Northern pass as we make way for Majuro. At this time we don't plan on stopping enroute. It should take us 10 days to sail the 1800nm.
