OOPS, not time to go yet!

You won't catch me saying, "I'd rather be sailing"... we're back at Musket Cove since Allen was looking at last year's log book and noticed just how much motoring we did every time there was a squall when we went north last year. First there's the South Pacific Convergence Zone, and we can't even count how many whoppers there were in that lovely section called the InterTropical Convergence Zone. Wallowing around for hours without wind after a squall isn't my idea of a good time, although the boys don't mind using it as an opportunity to fling themselves from one side of the cockpit to the other. Eventually it leads to someone getting their eye poked out, ya know?!
With a the transmission leaking as it is, despite his efforts at pulling it out and rebuilding it only a month ago, we can't afford to be without it. Apparently there were only "Metric" size seals for shaft of the transmission, and he needs "Imperial". Luckily we found a distributor in NZ, so they are already being shipped. We will sit pretty by the pool, swim in the pretty water, run over the pretty mountain, and pretty much just wait here! The only real bummer besides Allen having to do the work twice is that we'll pretty much eat everything we shopped for and prepared, so we'll have to re-provision. The bonus of being out here at Musket is that Farmboy will ship fruits and veggies out here fresh from the market for no extra charge! We're already on a mooring ball since we'll be without a motor, so there's no way to go back to Lautoka or Denerau without paying high prices for the ferry or paying for the expensive prices at the resort's mini markets.
We'll announce the next try maybe when we're already underway!
