We're Employed

Bob, summer weather, no more cold, hurray
Alice flew back home this morning to be with the grandkids for batisim and birthday parties. I'm catching up on emails and projects.
I just got invited to go racing on a Farr 395 on Saturday. It's a regatta to raise money for Hospice so it may not be cut-throat balls out racing but should be fun.
Earlier this week Alice and I left the ranks of unemployed retirees and signed on to work for the boat shows. Work starts on the 3rd of October and runs through the 23rd. Alice I and will leave that evening or the next day and sail as quickly as we can to Hampton, VA to get involved with the Caribbean 1500.
Hopefully the winds will be favorable for overnights down the bay.
Lucky Bird and her captain already miss Alice, this is though a good thing for her and our kids. BTW, Annapolis is feeling more and more like home, such a beautiful place.
