Getting Ready to get Out of Dodge

The engine is fixed with help from an East Coast distributor, FedEx and the local mechanic. The heat exchange had a fairly good size hole allowing our fresh water coolant to leak into the salt water side and get blown out the exhaust. So, knock on wood, we're good to go and will be loading up the dinghy shortly for the sail to Culebra Island then on to Puerto Rico. The weather seems to be improving and next we it looks like we'll have an opening to make the passage to the Turks and Caicos Islands. To get there we will sail the southern shore of PR, then jump across the Mona Passage to Dominican Republic, DR, then sail along the northern shore to Puerto Plata and then head north to the Turks and Caicos.
We've thoroughly enjoyed observing the cruise ships coming and going. The Allure of the Seas was the largest, followed by the Queen Mary II.
