It's been failing slowly, even as we prepared to leave it was running only with full choke. We need this little guy to fill up our batteries when at anchor with no wind and clouds.
Last night Alice and I took LB down Barkley Lake to find a secluded place to spend a few days. No wind as usual, bright sun but our small solar panel can't handle the full boat load, so I fired up the Honda, arg!! it just couldn't handle the battery charger's needs. So I decided to dig in, wrong decision. I removed the fuel filter thinking it might be restricting fuel flow. Nope, didn't help at all. Now I'm moving into an area way beyond my pay grade and decided to call for help. So, here we are back at Green Turtle Bay and tonight at 1000 a mechanic from a local Honda dealer is coming by to pick our hurting little fella. I just hope they can work some magic and make him or her well again.
