Life on the road is not always glamorous.
Today was one of those less than glamorous days!
After saying our goodbyes to Napier, we left in pouring rain, headed to Rotorua.
Along the way we were rescued by a stranger with 10 gallons of very expensive fuel when we realized we weren't going to make it to our destination!
Rotorua, aka Roto-Vegas, is known for its geothermal fields and geysers...
and theft...
and high prices,
all of which made us content to just "hang" in our really funky BnB.
We unpacked our entire car, sorted through the bags of stuff we've collected along the way, tossed a lot, reorganized, repacked.
Aaaaaaah! That feels better!!
Felt right at home when we found Fox News on our TV just in time to watch the State of the Union address - go Trumpy!!
Dinner was a spoil: a gondola ride to a mountain top restaurant with lovely sunset views over the lake.
Thanks for doing the unglamorous side of life with me too, my love ❤️
