Day Two of Five.

Maggie
The men went fishing this morning and us ladies woke up slowly and gently to yoghurt and cereal and fresh raspberries and tender heads! Our plans to hike flat Top were disbanded in favor of coffee and chats around the breakfast table before venturing into town for some shopping and lunch at the Bayview Restaurant which was delicious and a perfect spot to while away some idle hours with chatter and good food and drinks.
The guys had a great time too: many fish were caught, with Rob having his best day of fishing ever (he does say that every time!!) and Trev catching his first marlin. Much bantering was done amongst them in true manly style...
and Nev's grin remained wide and happy!
At 5pm I surprised the group with an amazingly intimate turtle please on the beach in front of our house thanks to Gabriel and Pepe who helped make it happen! Everyone was in awe once they realized what the surprise was and we cheered and encourage these hour old babies into the water...
this experience never fails to cover me in goosebumps!!
We had boerie rolls and pan fried fresh fish for dinner down at the palapa, our "local" friends, Gary and Janine and Ted and Kim, bravely joining us to meet the crowd!
It is the eve of Nev's birthday and we are all excited...
no-one has been out to see the farm yet...
and another great day is planned at Casa Azul for tomorrow before the party!
Your last day as a 69 year old...
cheers to you my love ❤️
