The national flag of each country we visit must be flown, along with our own, during our stay as a courtesy to our hosts. We have amassed a fair number of these now, and they will make a great collection when we return home.� Before departing the USA we purchased the neccesary fabrics - the ink and paints have been onboard scince leaving home - to make the flags for the countries we intend to visit on our final leg to New Zealand. Its fun (well at least watching Paula at work is!!), saves money and fills in time when stranded in port waiting for good weather. The flags for some of the Central American countrys prove to be a bit more challenging. Paula's earlier years as a graphic artist come in handy here.
