After 1168 miles from Bluff non-stop to Auckland with two Sailing With Disabilities volunteers as delivery crew, we settled here for what we thought would be a month or so for some basic maintenance and then off across the Tasman to Pittwater where a berth had been secured.
Scott went on his extended leave period to buy a boat of his own and spend time in the tropics, and Moksha welcomed ANOTHER Brit, Jon. (Sorry Moksha)
We started some big projects like mast-track replacement and resolving some serious window leaks (water should be outside the boat and not inside apparently) and lots of small projects, as well as the daily, weekly and monthly maintenance, and Auckland proved to be a great place to do this work. There are good contractors nearby and available at all times.
Here's a couple of shots from the city webcam of where Moksha has called home for the last few months; Viaduct Marina, Auckland. She's the only red one on the outer harbour on the right.
Here's a basic list of some of the work done whilst Moksha rested in Auckland.
