Time to Move
30 December 2015 | Placencia
Beth / 30 C

You would think with all the time we have been here in Placencia, I'd have done more writing and given you more posts to read, but alas, not so.
We endured a few more early mornings of rolly seas here in the anchorage but it eased off over the last few days. No rain, and hot days - just the kind of thing one wants in a tropical isle! The town is full of land travellers - there are many small resorts and beach homes to rent - and it's a lively atmosphere.
We have had a wonderful week of enjoying the company of good friends, and meals of fine food, and contemplative times in Madcap's cockpit. And now it is time to go somewhere.
We head out this morning toward Pelican Cays for a few days of excellent snorkelling, and we will update you after that.
Unfortunately, I dropped my iPhone in the water so not as many pictures available, but I will load some from my Canon soon, and rely on the kindness of friends for others. Our friend, Dave, on Ten Years After took this one as we left Tortugal.
Cheers to the end of 2015 and new adventures for 2016.
