We are currently sitting in Lunenburgs Back Harbour. After dredging our way in here we are here while the weather is poor and rainy so we can go to town and do laundry and get some work done on the boat.

We have a leaky water pump and I'm hoping to tear that apart today and see where we stand. I have a mechanic lined up next week to come fix it but have to check that the replacement I have is suitable.

The last few days have been a blast with a visit from our cousins Haley and Brad for an overnight at Backman's Island in Mahone Bay. We had an unexpected treat when the boys found unexploded fireworks on the beach (A really big grand finale box set) which I deemed worth trying out. They worked great! pretty good show. Then after the boys went to bed there were incredible bio-luminecence which were new to both Haley and Brad and were some of the best Heather and I had ever seen. Then I got out the laser pointer and finished off the full evenings light show.

We are getting ready to head to Cub camp so Heather and Sam will be moored on a Mahone bay mooring able to hit the beach on demand.
