A bit of a delay updating the blog as we didn't have a very good connection over the last few days.
We left Solomon's Is. On the 12th and headed to Mill Creek by Ingram bay. It was a tight entrance but really secluded and beautiful when we got in. On the way in Dolphins started playing in our bow wake!! It was really exiting but I was in such a rush to get a photo all I got was my feet and the rail!! It was really cool to see however we were in 8ft of water doing 7 knots and I couldn't watch too long. Heather and the boys really got a show! The boys were a bit rangy so we decided a few turns on the skimboard behind the dingy were in order!!!
We also explored the beach around the corner. The next day (13th) we were hoping to explore the Vineyard at the head of the creek but it was closed. Since we were unable to have a wine tasting we thought it would be best to have one of our own and invited the neighbouring boat John and Carmen to have one with us. It was a great time and we enjoyed their company. We spent another night in the quiet anchorage. We are ahead of schedule and intend on slowly making our way towards Norfolk for the end of the month.
We had to watch Tilley on the foredeck as there were 6 eagles flying overhead at one point!!
