We decided with the rain forecast but NE winds to run offshore overnight all the way down to Cumberland Is. Nature Park at the very southern tip of Georgia. Partly due to the fact that we had had enough of the ICW for a bit and that Georgia is one of the trickier sections.

Well we have now had enough rolling and are happy to see calm ICW waters again;> No it wasn't that bad we Sailed about 70 out of the 120 miles before the rains came and the wind went away.

Strolled into the cut this morning around 0800 just as everyone else was leaving. Its a hot humid day but we are looking forward to some beach days and exploring on the Island which is run by the parks services. They have wild horses and Armadillos, you can guess which the boys want to see more!

There is a lot to explore so we will update the blog after we do so. No pictures yet!

We can actually see Florida from the anchorage!!
