Made a long trek from Vero to Lake Worth in order to make some more southing. Unfortunately there was a weather window for crossing but we are too far north to use it (Unless we went to the Abacos).

We had a visit from Lyne and Andrew who had thier Norhaven 40 in our cove last summer. They are close by getting ready to sell their boat (I wish I could get it!!). They brought a great gift with them. All the new explorer charts for the Bahamas. And some for farther!! Then they were nice enough to drive me back with a little top up of groceries. (Now we know we will be waiting at least a week for weather might as well not dip into the Bahamas stash!!

It is supposed to blow NE for the next couple of days with lots of rain so we treked to the nearest west Marine and bought a little bildge pump that can easily pump out the rain collected in the lazarette and pump it into the tanks. Tried it last night and it works like a charm. We are completely full of water and there is still around 30 Gallons in the lazarette - we will celebrate with showers and laundry!!!

Also solidified plans for Christmas Visitors!!! The boys will be excited!
Speaking of Christmas Freddy our Elf on the Shelf is back but he has a frisky cat to contend with. He is ready for him!!!
