Left early this morning to head to Shroud Cay to do some of the great exploring through the mangroves. As we were passing Hawkbill Cay which is just to the south we realized the tides were off to explore inside shroud and we saw some incredible beaches there so do a quick change and pulled in.

Had a great afternoon swimming at the beach and checking out the caves there. The boys and I went up to check out the loyalist ruins and found an old rock wall and a cement one. Not much else but lizards.

Dad had a great snorkel and we found good spot of fish over at a coral head. The beach was beautiful and we all had salt water baths before heading back to the boat. Another couple from Halifax said hi to us and it turned out mom went to school with them back at John A!!! Small world.

Plan is now to run the 4 miles north early in the morning to catch the right tide to see shroud then continue on to Highbourne for the night tomorrow.
