Fishing is not always catching

We daperted the Exumas yesterday at daybreak and had a great sail in 15 knots of wind out of the south which put us on a nice beam reach the 30 miles across Exuma Sound. We arrived at Rock Sound in Eleuthera averaging 7 knots for the 38 mile trip. We were excited to be in a location which had a "grocery store" as we were completly out of fruit, even canned fruit! We'll be in Eleuthera for the next week before looking for a weather window to sail up tho the Abacos.
Last week we were fishing off the Exumas when a large female Mahi Mahi hit one of the 4 lines we troll with. A half hour fight had the fish, the largest we have ever had on a line, within 4 feet of the boat when she looked me in the eye jumped out of the water and bit clean thru 80 lbs of monofiliment like a hot knife thru butter! The above picture is Hoku holding the 2 new lures we made later that afternoon.
