Warm!

It has been an amazing transformation the last two days, from Cahrleston SC to St. Augusting FL. We had a nice day in Charleston with the temp reraching the upper 60's which was great considering it has been COLD! (On the morning before we arrived in Charleston I alomst went for a unintended swim due to the ice on deck). We departed at 7am and after a few hours of rough seas things settled down and we spent the next 30 hours motor-sailing south. Along the way we were treated to several schools of dolphins entertaining us as well as landing a nice Blackfin Tuna for sushi. The overnight seas were lit up by the almost full moon and more dolphins came to visit as well. 200 miles later we arrived at the St Augustine inlet around 2pm and were tied up to a town mooring by 3. Today its almost 80F and for the first time in as long as we can remember shorts, sunscreen and ice cold drinks instead of hot soup became the call. We are provisioning for our trip across the Gulf Stream so as oon as the weather looks good we'll go.
