We launched Makana last Tues. afternoon and spent two nights on a mooring in Southwest harbor. Early on Thur morning we departed ito the thick fog for 6 hours of motoring to Camden. Our chartplotter and accompaning radar guided us safely thru several narrow rock strewn areas and katie kept a sharp eye out for the lobster pots which seem to be everywhere often requiring us to zig-zag on an endless progression. We have had record rain for the month, the forecast is for some break in the action with the sun making an apperance for the holidy weekend!
