Well, this is a tough one because several people put quite an effort into their answers. Gayle was so quick off the mark (less than 24hrs) that she won the prize. However for content and enthusiasm, Rick and Daisy were very close runners up. We loved the recipe and I intend to cook it up soon. Thanks Rick. Now we all know a good deal about Pozole, here is a photo of the one we ate last Thursday with a generous amount of Mezcal at "Santa Prisca Pozoleria" on the outskirts of Zihuatanejo. By the way, no-one got the answer to 'why on Thursdays?' and I asked the owner of Santa Prisca and he did not know either, except to say that it was just the traditional day to eat it, so that is still open to suggestions.
