The day is coming to an end and since this morning we have done, perhaps, 20 miles. Very light winds from the E, then totally becalmed, a large rain squall, then wind from the west!, then no wind, rain again, spinnaker up, wind on starboard side, wind suddenly on port side, spinnaker down, wind up-20 knots for 5 minutes, then mirror calm, now wind NW, on the nose...Im dizzy.

Extra: Shearwater is a 47 foot, very sleek and light catamaran. She is part of a fleet of 11 that were built - its a sister ship of Shearwater that holds the unofficial speed record. 31 knots! Of the this fleet, only one has flipped...so we are on the side of good odds!
