OUT!
26 April 2012 | On the way to the Caribbean

Since late afternoon yesterday, I have had a strongish wind from the northeast. Today, as evening comes, I am experiencing 10-20 knots, still from the northeast and we are moving at about 5-6 knots. The seas are roughish and hitting Shearwater exactly on her side, her beam, leading to a very noisy and uncomfortable ride - strong constant buffeting. Its almost as if those doldrum gods spoke, saying:'So you want to get out of the doldrums eh?...Here, take this!' Well, whatever the case, uncomfortable or not, for better or for worse, I am betting I am out!
