ON THE WAY TO GEORGETOWN...After an exhilarating ride through the Dotham Cut with its "rage"( a bahamian term for current against wind and high waves) that has actually claimed many a boat....and meeting a head on wind of 20knots....we beat all day, back and forth, back and forth only to have gone 13 nautical miles in 7 hours.....so not having made Georgetown a distance of 50 miles we navigated the Galliot Cut and here are anchored and quiet ready for the final push to Georgetown....how different are the speeds and distances on the sea vs on land!---all day 13 miles!!!
