Icebergs In The ICW!
17 November 2010 | Vero Beach Florida
Sunny, 82 deg. wind light
And you thought that there are only icebergs in the arctic!
Here we are at Barefoot Landing in Myrtle Beach and we are fending off a small berg with a few trees growing on it. I know it was cold that day but, not THAT cold. This was really a piece of some waterfront landscaping made of pipe and light cement. It floated by the marina in the current going back and forth 2 or 3 times a day. We saw it 2 miles south when we left.
We are enjoying the sun and warmth here in Vero with Grateful Atittudes.
Looks like the weather for crossing to the Bahamas does not look good until later next week. We'll see what happens.
