Almost ready

04 July 2012 | Still in Babylon
Peggy / weather hot and sunny
Day before cruise. it was so hot and muggy, 90ish degrees. Packing the boat was extra hot. Must have felt like 98 degrees. When Bob saw all my "packing," he said maybe we need a 55 foot boat.(ours is 46 feet.). It was rough weather to be running around in hot humid weather readying the boat for a two plus week cruise. This is what I learned from today. Bob has more stamina than me but he complains about aches and pains. I don't have his stamina but I am pain free. I also know why we need a bigger boat. At one point today Bob asked me to hand him a hanger from our standing locker. I removed a long sleeve flannel shirt from the hanger and said to him, " you won't be needing this. Use this hanger and I will bring this shirt back to the house.".

He said, " Oh no, that is my emergency shirt. Keep that on board. One year on cruise it was 100 degrees on Block Island and then it was 45 degrees in Newport."
