Waiting for the tide at Fleetwood
Had an interesting sail back to Fleetwood from the Isle of Man, strong Easterly wind and lots of traffic to avoid, a beautiful sunrise then up the channel at low water, creeping along scraping the keel all the way, now sat on a buoy waiting for the gate to open.

11th October 2009, Actio Air Force Base and civil airport. The plane touched down just after 1800 and we took a taxi to the marina, ok it's only about two miles away but it's been a long day waiting for the plane to have it's engine repaired, we watched them put it back together and run it up three times before they finally took the ladder away. It was last light as we touched down and pitch dark when we got to the marina, I couldn't wait to take the "For Sale" signs off and get started. We had six days before we were due to depart.
