Waiting for the tide at Fleetwood
Had an interesting sail back to Fleetwood from the Isle of Man, strong Easterly wind and lots of traffic to avoid, a beautiful sunrise then up the channel at low water, creeping along scraping the keel all the way, now sat on a buoy waiting for the gate to open.

Start of our trip to Shetland, left Fleetwood with Steph on the helm, sails up as soon as we were out of the dock channel passing Mike P on his way back in, a good sail to Piel but the turning up the buoyed channel with the wind behind us pushing the ebb was painfully slow. One of the wind cats said “Watch out for the yacht dithering about on the edge of the channel” I was tempted to call him up but what’s the point?
