The long journey begins:
This will be a new adventure for me. My dream of building my own cruising sailboat and traveling to distant lands will be another adventure. But first the adventure and pleasure of building a wooden boat.
A few months ago I finished building the loft floor and began the full size drawing of my Paul Gartside designed Gaff Cutter. Some will say this is no easy task but i love wood working and this will be a true pleasure for me to undertake.
I have been building mould frames from the station lines on the plan. I have 4 left to build and then it will be time for the keel parts to be shaped.
