Would have been ready to set off just after 10am but fish were jumping so I decided to catch something for supper; a mackerel was very obliging. Although I did have the engine running I sailed off the anchor and once out in the open fjord found the wind was varying between W and SW so was on a starboard tack close haul all day to the south. Again, patches of almost no wind between some of the islands meant I was averaging just 4kts. Took the time to renew the lines on the fenders, but otherwise just enjoyed the view and listened to some music as I swept along. Thought I saw a porpoise fin at one point near Rennesøy but couldn't be sure. Finally beat into Grassholm and motored into harbour. Great trip.
