KIEVIT FRIES

WOW We saw whales spouting before anchoring in Caleta Partida, just in time to enjoy a fabulous sunset. Yes, the sun always sets, but sometimes the clouds gather up for a magnificent display. The next day there was more fishing, though no catching, and we anchored in El Cardoncito – in search of the elusive Bluefooted Booby to add to Lorrie’s lifelist.

TREE HOUSE OF DREAMS, NICOYA PENNINSULA, COSTA RICA, MARCH 2015

What a house – all handcrafted out of native woods, cut on the property where the house stands, to minimize its footprint. From the water and the hillsides, only the blue roof is visible. Simply unique and lovely, an impressive work of art.
