STILLLIFE: 3 FISH & SHRIMP

Another Fishy Story
Another day in Paradise, time to clean, oil and tend the prop. That special device that keeps us moving with the engine if the wind is not favorable. Get out all the scuba gear (machines & suits & equipment), plus the oil gun, to be used under water, and various other nuts and bolts that need to be replaced on the underwater boat works. Never mind all the gook that accumulates on hands, body, suits, and eventually various parts of the boat. We do our best to keep all gook out of the water, there is a lot of gook! The Captain, feeling more like a worker, completes the job with small assistance from the only other mate aboard.
So, all is well in paradise. Lovely, warm temperature, the water is turquoise and clear, the winds are fair. We'll dock the boat in La Paz for two weeks while traveling to Pueblo, CO - especially to be audience for Ruby Fries' role as White Princess in Alice the Musical and then to return for three weeks aboard with Claire to examine BAJA waters. (Ruby has another lead role for the summer production - we would never leave her out!)
We return to Stockton, June 20th , anticipating a very fun summer with all five grandkids and their families arriving in July for a family camping trip. Plan to lauch KIEVIT in Oct/Nov in La Paz.
UNTIL THEN.... Hasta Luego.
