THEY FOUND US! Cyn was smiling every second except this one!!
On the way back to our dinghy with our cuisine cache, we heard shouting from the nearby roadway. It was our friends Cindy and Greg who had taken the bus from their house on the Pacific Coast side of Costa Rica. They had spotted my Tilley Hat and the dinghy! We spent the day with them on Kievit and onshore at a palapa restaurant. It was a gentle treasure of a day visiting with friends. The bus even came on time to return them to Cobano in time to catch the last bus back to Santa Teresa, their "town" on a dirt road just off the beach.

First port in Mexico, 2016 is Chiapis Marina. Debbie and Dennis Davis joined us Feb 2 for a sailing experience on Bahia Tehuanapec. First we traveled inland.

What a house – all handcrafted out of native woods, cut on the property where the house stands, to minimize its footprint. From the water and the hillsides, only the blue roof is visible. Simply unique and lovely, an impressive work of art.
