KIEVIT FRIES

Saturday, we were up early to take in the organic market that was to be (according to the cruising guide books) at the so called Bahia Ballena Yacht Club, which is really just a bar/restaurant. Turns out the "yacht culb" went bust two years ago. The market was still there and we stocked up on some fresh vegetables and fruits. Perfect strawberries to be eaten immediately. Dave also scored some fresh fish on the old dock of the restaurant.

TREE HOUSE OF DREAMS, NICOYA PENNINSULA, COSTA RICA, MARCH 2015

What a house – all handcrafted out of native woods, cut on the property where the house stands, to minimize its footprint. From the water and the hillsides, only the blue roof is visible. Simply unique and lovely, an impressive work of art.
