BHAHIA BALLENA
Bahia Ballena (09 43. N; 085.01 W) is a beautiful protected anchorage in the midst of a tropical paradise. Wish you were here!
We found S/V Galivant and the catamaran Letitgo anchored in the Bahia. We had met the French couple (on Letitgo) and their son in Bahia Santa Elena the week before. Crews of all three vessels were invited aboard Letitgo for a potluck dinner. Turns out that Letitgo's owners are previous owners of restaurants in France and Canada. It was a fabulous dinner with great company. There was a full moon and cool tropical breeze all evening. What better way to spend Valentine's Day.

What a house – all handcrafted out of native woods, cut on the property where the house stands, to minimize its footprint. From the water and the hillsides, only the blue roof is visible. Simply unique and lovely, an impressive work of art.
