KIEVIT FRIES

We have had a nice visit with friends since arriving in the estuary. Jean and Bill, organizers of the El Salvador Rally, are great hosts. Former residents of Sacramento, Ca, Lynn and Lou, were hosting a football playoff watching party at their house, a half hour dinghy ride down the Estuary on Sunday. Cooling off in Lynn & Lou's swimming pool is always a highlight of a visit with them. About 20 cruisers were at the party and it was good fun.

TREE HOUSE OF DREAMS, NICOYA PENNINSULA, COSTA RICA, MARCH 2015

What a house – all handcrafted out of native woods, cut on the property where the house stands, to minimize its footprint. From the water and the hillsides, only the blue roof is visible. Simply unique and lovely, an impressive work of art.
