KIEVIT FRIES

Marj and Dave rejoined Kievit at Marina Chiapas MX on Jan 4, 2015. Kievit was in the boatyard since last April. She held up fairly well in nine months under the tropical sun. It took 3 days to get a new coat of bottom paint on as well as some out of the water maintenance on seacocks, new zincs, and prop painting. It was good to get Kievit back in the water where she feels at home, and we feel at home on her.

TREE HOUSE OF DREAMS, NICOYA PENNINSULA, COSTA RICA, MARCH 2015

What a house – all handcrafted out of native woods, cut on the property where the house stands, to minimize its footprint. From the water and the hillsides, only the blue roof is visible. Simply unique and lovely, an impressive work of art.
