Atlantic Crossing Update #6. Our current GPS position is as shown above. Our boat speed is 4 - 8 knots and the wind speed and direction are 16 - 24 knots at 132 degrees true, and the swell is approximately 4 meters ENE and 2 meter sloppy sea from the SE. Log distance is 1,228 nautical miles. At this rate we will be in Barbados on 28/01/2014???

What a Night! A free spirit now, Ties were cut, depart us, Goodbye little Matty-Lau.

The last 24 hours difficult ones. Unpredicted low bringing 50+ knot "breezes". Boys spent most of the early hours wrestling with the elements on the flybridge. Forced to sever ties with our tender - Matty-Lau. Everyone tired but managing to smile.

Everyone is well and the boat is going great.

Love from Kevin, Patti, Marc and Milada
