New Position - Strangers Cay, Abaco, Bahamas
Hi Everyone,
Local Time - 13:00. No mobile/internet communication so sending this position report by SatPhone.
We have moved on to Strangers Cove after spending New Years Eve at Great Sale Cay. These islands are uninhabited and the only people you see are those coming in by yacht, usually spending the night only. The quiet and isolation is wonderful.
We won't have mobile or internet connections for more than a week yet as we cannot buy SIM cards for our phones until we get to a large town. The SatPhone is working however, and we can send and receive emails, text messages and telephone call via it. Please don�'t send email replies to this SatPhone email address unless it is urgent.
However, you can text message to the SatPhone on +881632648785. The text message is free. You can send emails to our normal email address but we will not respond to them until we have mobile phone reception.
