Turtle Bay

Turtle Bay
Hoje vamos pra terra, ver a pequena vila. Precisamos estirar as nossas pernas.
Tchau e beijos pra todos.

We left Ensenada with a lot of wind, 20 to 30knts, and 10 to 12 feet seas. The night was cold, and the bang, boom, slam, kaboom sound of the water hitting the hulls was a test to our ears. It was nice to come to a quiet anchorage, San Benitos, for the night before proceeding to Turtle Bay next morning.
In the way here, we caught a nice yellow tail, about 12lbs. And we caught it at the right time, lunch time.
We also caught a serious problem with our port rudder. It is completely damaged due to faulty manufacturing. It will take weeks to get one made and shipped to us. We will be in Mexico for longer than we had planned. But such is the life in a boat. Every plan is to be changed without notice.
We are going to shore soon, to the small village, to check it out and get some fresh fruit.
Hasta luego.
